What We Need

Things I think the church and the world needs now post pandemic (Edit):

The return of a Gospel message every single Sabbath 

Meeting in informal Roman Villa size gatherings every Sabbath (if grows bigger plant another to infinitum)

Participatory meetings respecting the priesthood of all believers, where no voice is banned and no voice is given the highest honour. Except He who has come to teach us of Himself.

Communion every Sabbath 

Baptism of all new believers as soon as possible 

Assemblies that stir each other up to love and good deeds every Sabbath and go into the world every day to share the good news by word and action.

Above all love.

Grace Alone. My heart yet afar off. Christ dies for me. My heart drawn to Him. Christ rises for me. Grace: Be still and know that I am God. My heart broken. Christ comforts me. My heart angry at, the world, the flesh, the devil and even to my shame family and Him whom I have pierced. Christ calms me. Grace: Be still and know that I am God. My heart yearning for a better world. Christ encourages me. Grace: Be still and know that I am God. Lonely, My heart blessed with a beloved. Desiring a child, My heart blessed with a baby. Governments, armies, Terrorists and arms dealers all claim to be serving the greater good in eliminating threats. They claim to protect us from enemies (while clearly swimming in a sea of money like Scrooge McDuck). But, the question is, who will protect us from them? It is the age-old "Who Will Watch the Watchmen?"

Behold the Sunrise of God's infinite Grace. In an age of war, disasters and all out wickedness, a child was born. In an age of war, disasters and all out wickedness a boy stunned the religious elite. In an age of war, disasters and all out wickedness a man preaches love and performs miracles. In an age of war, disasters and all out wickedness he is humiliated, mocked, tortured and killed, his body on display. In an age of war, disasters and all out wickedness he is buried by followers, crushed, forsaken. In an age of war, disasters and all out wickedness HE RISES AND DEFEATS DEATH! In an age of war, disasters and all out wickedness he forgives the followers who abandoned and denied him. In an age of war, disasters and all out wickedness he is still forgiving.
