Devotion

I can only let God decide if there is a Christian Revival going on in parts of the UK and beyond just now, for He alone is God. But, there are certainly signs of people turning to Christ and pockets of social change. Both Pete Greig of 247 Prayer and Peter Anderson of CityonaHill and Go Global have shared about this recently on social media. Though we have seen dark days in our lands and on the global stage, there is nothing new under the sun.  What I will say is what G.K. Chesterton once said: "Christianity has died many times and risen again; for it had a God who knew the way out of the grave."  By His grace may His light shine brightly in our lands! Hallelujah!

I have started to do art again! Not sure if it is any good by other peoples standards, but certainly enjoyable and therapeutic. I am doing an introduction course with Little Art School online and also interacting with a National Autistic Society art page and group online.

(Zechariah 9:9-10 NAB) The first part of the prophesy seems a distant memory of Jesus entering Jerusalem with His nonviolent underground group of followers. (cf. Luke 19:28-21:36) The second part seems a hard to see future event when war shall be no more for in meekness our king has conquered evil. The sword shall not devour forever! The peaceable kingdom will be from sea to sea, from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.
